Based in Derbyshire RA Design was established in 2006 by Robin Ashby MA (RCA).

Rob is vastly experienced in the industry and over the years has added many strings to his bow. Amongst other things, he has worked for famous brands such as Wedgwood in product design and manufacture, he has taught up to BA level at university and worked as a CAD modeller for Domino Jewellery.

If all that wasn’t enough, for many years Rob worked as a university technician where he honed and perfected his skills in every aspect of the jewellery making process fromcasting to engraving.

It is this combination of practical experience, broad knowledge and technical ability that has cemented Rob’s trusted reputation within the industry. He is very ‘hands on works’ and works closely with casters making sure that the production process runs smoothly and excellent results are produced every time.
